Price & Pre-Order

The Switch 2 Edition carries a $5 premium over the standard version at $39.99 USD. Pre-orders cut 15% off, which brings the Switch 2 price down to roughly $33.99. The standard Switch version stays at $34.99. Check your regional Nintendo eShop for exact local pricing.

Performance & Visual Upgrades

Because this is a separate Switch 2 edition rather than a simple compatibility patch, players can expect better load times and higher-resolution output on Switch 2 hardware. Exact frame-rate targets, resolution and storage size have not been detailed by the developers as of this writing.

Free Demo on Switch

A free demo is available on the Nintendo Switch eShop now. It covers character creation, fishing, flower arranging, embroidery and early town interactions. See our demo guide for details.

The game runs on both original Switch and the dedicated Switch 2 edition.

Which Version Should You Buy?

If you already own a Switch 2, the Switch 2 Edition is the better pick for performance. If you are on the original Switch, the standard version still gives you the full experience on day one. For a full platform breakdown, read our release date & platforms guide.
